Educational Background
Dr. Pantino graduated from the Northwestern University School of Dental Medicine. For the past 20 years, Dr. Pantino has worked in conjunction with area physicians, sleep centers, and sleep specialists to provide treatment for patients diagnosed with sleep-disordered breathing. This is usually associated with snoring, upper airway resistance syndrome, and sleep apnea.
Gaining Attention
Dr. Pantino is nationally recognized for his expertise in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine, has appeared on TV and radio, and has presented lectures to dentists, physicians, and patient groups. He has served on the faculties of both the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and Tufts University. In addition, he is actively involved in research. Dr. Pantino holds several patents on devices and methods used in the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing.

Credentials
Don is an active member of the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine™ (ADSM). He has served as chair of the Education and Curriculum Committee since 1997 and program chair of its annual meetings from 1999-2000. Dr. Pantino also completed a two-year term as President of the ASDM, from 2000-2002. He is credentialed in the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing by the ADSM certifying board and is a member of the special section on Oral Appliance Therapy of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
Memberships
From 1999-2002, Dr. Pantino has served as program chair for the joint session on Dental Sleep Medicine at the annual Affiliated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS) meeting. He has also served on the editorial review boards of the journals Sleep and Breathing and Sleep Review. In addition, Dr. Pantino is proudly associated with the following organizations:
